Q: What's the best way to start the day?

A: With a walk and listening to music.

A: Why my kids are always pushing the boundaries on everything?

A: I don't know. It seems I'm always learning something and moving forward. I like that.


Q: What fictional place would you most like to go?

A: A fantasy place that I create. To be determined...


Q: What have you only recently formed an opinion about?

A: How unfortunate it is that our country is so politically divided.

A: Kitchen Confidential by Anthony Bourdain.


Q: What risks are worth taking?

A: The ones where you ask yourself "...am I going to hate myself later if I don't do this?"

A: Growing up in New England, Art in My Life, Mental Illness.

Q: What do you spend the most time thinking about?

A: Getting work and making art.


Q: Best and worst advice you've ever received.

A: Best: Follow your passion. Worst: Be careful, don't go too far out there.


Q: How has your work evolved over the past few years?

A: It has evolved from mostly product photography to include shooting models for beauty, as well. Also, I've started making analog collages, which are a great creative outlet.


Q: One thing you can't show up to a shoot without - Besides a camera ;)

A: My boombox (and playlists) and dark chocolate for everyone on set.
